Alawneh Exchange was founded in 1966 by the late Mohammad Alawneh in Irbid, Jordan. What began as a small exchange office has grown into one of the country’s leading financial institutions.
With over 5 decades of experience, we now operate 51 branches across Jordan and employ over 1,000 professionals, all committed to providing secure, fast, and innovative money transfer and exchange services.

Our AML policy fully complies with the regulations of the Central Bank of Jordan and aligns with the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), following a risk-based approach to safeguard against the misuse of financial services.
We recognize our responsibility to work closely with regulators and partners across Jordan to maintain a secure and transparent financial system.
